Computer science description: For the problem of feedback control of flatness in a cold tandem rolling this paper proposes control techniques based on quadratic optimization. Three different strategies are proposed and compared: a centralized solution based on a global QP problem that decides the commands to all the actuators, and two decentralized solutions where each actuator command is optimized locally.
