abstract: In this essay Balestracci analyses the role of the Italian literature since the late 1800s until the End of the World War Two. From the dissertation emerged the niche placement occupied from the Italian Literature in the German literary and editorial field, also in the years of the German-Italian Cultural Pact during the dictatorships.
