Such a model provides a relationship in the z-domain between the discrete probability densities of the buffer state occupancies of the nodes in the network and the sizes of the arriving bulks. Under a class of two-hop forwarding strategies, expressions are obtained for the average buffer occupancy and its standard deviation. %Z 7th IEEE International Conference on System of Systems Engineering (IEEE SOSE 2012)held in Genoa, July 16th-19th, 2012
