%X The influence of the interface bonding strength on brittle crack propagation in bi-material structures is investigated. In this study a crack is set at the vertex of the interface between two joined dissimilar materials. Competition between several possible crack trajectories is endeavoured, paying special attention to the effect of thermo-elastic and residual stresses on crack propagation.
