TY - CHAP N2 - The Internet of Services is a term used to describe open global computing infrastructures in which an increasing number of services is made available to users through the Internet. Due to the openness, from the users point, the quality of the services offered can vary a lot and users have to concentrate on choosing the right ones. The choice of a good service thereby depends on the users? direct experience (Image), and their ability to acquire information (Reputation), which can be used to update their own evaluations. In this work, we present a set of simulation runs to explore the effect of reputation regarding services delivery in a Service network where information is asymmetrically distributed.
