Due to the openness, from the users point, the quality of the services offered can vary a lot and users have to concentrate on choosing the right ones. The choice of a good service thereby depends on the users’ direct experience (Image), and their ability to acquire information (Reputation), which can be used to update their own evaluations. In this work, we present a set of simulation runs to explore the effect of reputation regarding services delivery in a Service network where information is asymmetrically distributed. date: 2009 date_type: published publisher: CNR ; ISTC pagerange: 200-214 pages: 233 refereed: TRUE isbn: 978-88-85059-27-6 book_title: Proceedings of the First International Conference on Reputation: Theory and Technology - ICORE 09 related_url_url: http://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.cfm?abstract_id=1481560 citation: König, Stefan and Balke, Tina and Quattrociocchi, Walter and Paolucci, Mario and Eymann, Torsten On the effects of reputation in the Internet of Services.
