The aim of the paper it twofold. First we give basic theoretical results on the structure of the optimal state feedback solution and of the value function. Second we describe how the state feedback optimal control law can be efficiently constructed by combining multiparametric programming and dynamic programming. date: 2002-03 date_type: published pagerange: 1-41 event_title: Hybrid Systems: Computation and Control (HSCC 2002) event_location: Stanford, California, USA event_dates: 25 - 27 March 2002 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE related_url_url: http://web.stanford.edu/group/hscc2002/Abstracts/19.html related_url_type: org citation: Bemporad, Alberto and Borrelli, Francesco and Morari, Manfred Optimal control of discrete time linear hybrid systems.
