Novel to our approach are the notions that a role specified in a protocol may be carried out by several parties, and that one party may assume di%erent roles at di%erent stages of the protocol. We build on Conversation Types by adding roles to protocol specifications. Systems are modeled in ?-calculus extended with labeled communication and role annotations. The main result shows that well-typed systems follow the role-based protocols prescribed by the types, addressing systems where roles have dynamic distributed implementations. %A Pedro Baltazar %A Vasco Thudichum Vasconcelos %A Hugo Torres Vieira %P 1-12 %T Typing dynamic roles in multiparty interaction
