A formal definition of the feasible parameter set is provided, taking explicitly into account prior information on system stability. On the basis of a detailed analysis of the geometrical structure of the feasible set, convex relaxation techniques are presented to solve nonconvex optimization problems arising in the computation of parameters uncertainty intervals. Properties of the computed relaxed bounds are discussed. A simulated example is presented to show the effectiveness of the proposed technique. date: 2010-06 date_type: published publisher: IEEE pagerange: 2152-2157 event_title: American Control Conference (ACC), 2010 id_number: 10.1109/ACC.2010.5531340 refereed: TRUE isbn: 978-1-4244-7426-4 book_title: Proceedings of American Control Conference (ACC), 2010 official_url: http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/stamp/stamp.jsp?tp=&arnumber=5531340&isnumber=5530425 citation: Cerone, Vito and Piga, Dario and Regruto, Diego Bounding the parameters of linear systems with stability constraints.
