First, the problem of computing parameter uncertainty intervals is formulated in terms of nonconvex optimization. Then, on the basis of the analysis of the regressor structure, we present an ad hoc convex relaxation scheme for computing parameter bounds by means of semidefinite optimization. date: 2013-09 date_type: published publication: Automatica volume: 49 number: 9 publisher: Elsevier pagerange: 2853 - 2859 id_number: 10.1016/j.automatica.2013.05.028 refereed: TRUE issn: 0005-1098 official_url: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0005109813003117 citation: Cerone, Vito and Piga, Dario and Regruto, Diego A convex relaxation approach to set-membership identification of LPV systems.
