However, the trajectory of an impulsive system cannot be stabilized to arbitrary desired points hindering their utilization in a great many applications. In this paper, we study the equilibrium of linear impulsive systems with respect to target-sets. We properly extend the notion of invariance and design stabilizing model predictive controllers (MPC). Finally, we apply the proposed methodology to control the intravenous bolus administration of Lithium. date: 2015-08 date_type: published publication: IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control volume: 60 number: 8 publisher: IEEE pagerange: 2277-2282 id_number: 10.1109/TAC.2014.2380672 refereed: TRUE issn: 0018-9286 official_url: http://ieeexplore.ieee.org/xpl/articleDetails.jsp?arnumber=6985596&newsearch=true&queryText=Model%20Predictive%20Control%20for%20Linear%20Impulsive%20Systems citation: Sopasakis, Pantelis and Patrinos, Panagiotis and Sarimveis, Haralambos and Bemporad, Alberto Model Predictive Control for Linear Impulsive Systems.
