In this paper we show how to use formal tools, specifically a modal logic, for formalizing properties for mobile agent systems. We concentrate on one of these new languages, Klaim, and we use it to specify a system that permits maintaining the software installed on several heterogeneous computers distributed over a network by taking advantage of the mobile agent paradigm. date: 2002 date_type: published series: Lecture Notes in Computer Science volume: 2315 publisher: Springer pagerange: 72-87 id_number: 10.1007/3-540-46000-4_9 refereed: TRUE isbn: 3-540-43410-0 book_title: Coordination Models and Languages (COORDINATION 2002) editors_name: Arbab, Farhad editors_name: L.
