This system allows users to take advantage of all three views of CCS semantics (the transitions, the operationally defined equivalences and the axioms) and to define their own verification strategies for moving from one view to another. The system relies on term rewriting techniques and manipulates only the symbolic representation of specifications without resorting to any other kind of internal representation. date: 1990 date_type: published series: Lecture Notes in Computer Science volume: 407 publisher: Springer pagerange: 54-67 id_number: 10.1007/3-540-52148-8_5 refereed: TRUE isbn: 3-540-52148-8 book_title: Automatic Verification Methods for Finite State Systems editors_name: Sifakis, Joseph official_url: http://dx.doi.org/10.1007/3-540-52148-8_5 funders: This research has been partially supported by the CEC under ESPRIT project 2304 - LOTOSPHERE. citation: De Nicola, Rocco and Inverardi, Paola and Nesi, Monica Using the Adxiomatic Presentation of Behavioural Equivalences for Manipulating CCS Specifications.
