The local current distribution is strongly dependant on the conductivity and on the geometry of the galvanic cell and can only be performed by the numerical solution of the PDE’s governing the system. The ability to predict the local current density on an electrode is crucial to eventually evidence portions where the deposition may be invalidate. date: 2009 date_type: published publisher: COMSOL event_title: COMSOL Conference 2009 event_location: Milan (Italy) event_dates: 2009 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE book_title: COMSOL conference 2009 : user presentation and proceedings CD : Boston, Milan, Bangalore official_url: https://www.comsol.com/paper/download/44946/Perissi.pdf citation: Perissi, I. and Borri, Claudia and Caporali, Stefano and Lavacchi, Alessandro Current Density Simulations in the Electrodeposition from Ionic Liquids: Effects of the Conductivity.
