However, many control applications have clear economic objectives that can be used directly as the NMPC cost function. Such NMPC schemes are labelled Economic NMPC. Unfortunately, Economic NMPC schemes suffer from some drawbacks. In particular, stability results for economic NMPC are still very sparse. A Lyapunov function for Economic NMPC was first proposed in [1] for problems having a steady-state optimum. The present paper develops a further generalization and clarification of these results for periodic systems. date: 2013 date_type: published publisher: IEEE pagerange: 5107-5112 event_title: 52nd Conference on Decision and Control event_location: Florence, Italy event_dates: December 10-13, 2013 event_type: conference id_number: doi:10.1109/CDC.2013.6760691 refereed: TRUE isbn: 978-1-4673-5717-3 issn: 0191-2216 book_title: 52nd IEEE Conference on Decision and Control official_url: http://doi.org/10.1109/CDC.2013.6760691 citation: Zanon, Mario and Gros, Sebastien and Diehl, Moritz A Lyapunov function for periodic economic optimizing Model Predictive Control.
