Recently, balanced Steady-State Free Precession (bSSFP) methods have been employed to overcome image quality limitations associated with myocardial BOLD methods. However, the long TRs required for optimal BOLD contrast can lead to unwanted flow/motion artifacts, ultimately compromising image quality. In this work we evaluate the utility of 2D first-order motion compensation scheme to minimize flow/motion artifacts in cardiac phase-resolved bSSFP BOLD imaging. date: 2010 event_title: 18th Meeting of the international society for magnetic resonance in medicine event_location: Stockholm, Sweden event_dates: 1-7 May 2010 event_type: conference refereed: TRUE official_url: http://www.medical.siemens.com/siemens/en_INT/gg_mr_FBAs/files/MAGNETOM_World/ismrm_proceedings/ismrm_2010/1314.pdf citation: Zhou, Xiangzhi and Tsaftaris, Sotirios A. and Liu, Ying and Tang, Richard and Klein, Rachel and Zuehlsdorff, Sven and Li, Debiao and Dharmakumar, Rohan Myocardial BOLD imaging using flow compensated 2D cine bSSFP.
